Explore the world of photography each week including landscapes, nature, closeups, still life, portraiture, candids & people, action & sports, and abstract photography. Emphasis will be placed on the photographic approach, camera settings, optimizing your results and equipment needed.
Handout material will be provided to summarize each class.
*(It is NOT a prerequisite to have taken D101 to take this course).

Week 5 - PORTRAITURE
Using "fill" reflectors and flash.
Studio approach to lighting.
Posing the subject.
Week 6 - CANDIDS/PEOPLE
Getting closer without the subject knowing.
Composing the frame.
Fill flash outdoors.
Week 7 - ACTION/SPORTS
Using shutter speed to control motion.
How to focus on moving subjects.
