Most of the products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty with the exception of used equipment. This means that the manufacturer is responsible to repair or replace your equipment at their option for the period of time noted on their warranty documents. The customer (you) are responsible for getting the product back into their hands for this service. We're happy to help you with that process and expedite the turnaround of your repair but we don't cover the associated costs. If you bring your product in to us for warranty service, all you will need to pay is the cost of shipping and insurance.
Burlington Camera is proud to offer an extended warranty on many of our camera, lenses and flashes. This warranty will cover just about anything that could happen to your equipment including impact, dirt or water (accidentally of course and not including loss!) for a period of three years. All you have to do is bring back the pieces. Our warranty is underwritten by Fotosource Canada Inc. which is an association of over 120 independent photo stores right across Canada. If you're travelling, you can even get your camera serviced at a Fotosource store in another Canadian city. It will be completely covered at no cost to you. The cost of the warranty depends on the value of your equipment so ask one of our staff about this great coverage the next time you purchase a new piece of equipment.
